This is one of my favorite embroideries that I've done and we just recently added some pretty tinting to it. We are really excited to do a giveaway with this bad girl, so leave a comment with your email address and tell me about your dream tattoo... that is if you have one!
Good luck lovelies!
Giveaway winner will be announced next Thursday so you have a week to enter :)
xoxo
Katy
p.s. It was such a beautiful morning

My dream tat would be a nerdy word thing (like a semicolon, which I love so much it may not be healthy) or a schwa; a creative ying-yang based symbol, like using fish or something; or something to do with my daughter's zodiac sign.
Thanks! Love the embroidery!
Hi!
That girl loves lovelyyy!! I hope I win :D my email is perlaaherrera[at]gmail[dot]com. My dream tattoo would be some cherry blossoms on my back. I think they are just so pretty and dreamy.
I would have the Cross of Santiago... to tell why would take too long, though. :)
Love the embroidery!
I would LOVE to have a rat tattoo. A tribal rat maybe instead of a realistic looking one. That is how crazy I am about rodents. lol

This looks awesome! Love the details and the phrase! I already have 3 tattoos but if I got another one it would be a bunny in the moon as I love the original story and bunnies are my thing! I collect them like crazy! Or I would get something sewing/quilting/embroidery/crafting related as it is certainly my passion. bomara@gmail.com
LOVE the embroidery! She is great! Dream tattoo ... a portrait of my 3 "boys" (who are cats).
Lovely embroidery!!! My dream tattoo atm would be a heart with my sons name in it. I'd also like some small tatts that reflect the things I love so for example a needle and thread stitching a cross as I love cross-stitch, can't really think of anything else atm... oh a peacock feather as I just adore them lol...
I have many of my dream tattoos, including my pink haired alien pinup. But my next is going to be a set of 3 sugar skulls, based on an embroidery design, actually. Love the one you have here, so fantastic!

Hey!! I would love to have a half seleve. I only have a little tattoo on my arm now, but I'd love to fill it up with just black and grays. A VW bus with the names of my family around it. My e-mail is hazydaisy01 at yahoo dot com.

My dream tattoo? Well let's see...something cute...has to have pink....maybe a bird....on let me think!!! Maybe a flower?
My dream tattoo would be done by Sunny Buick in her lovely powder blues and pinks. It would be themed around sewing and embroidery with a threaded needle and a funky pincushion. Since it's a dream, it would be a half sleeve with lot's of swirls of color and maybe a robot thrown in. Love the embroidery! ammullins at hotmail dot com
So beautiful! I have a ladybug on my back. I absolutely didn't know they called it a tramp stamp until about 5 years later!!! Anyway, it's cute and just for me and my husband, though my 4-year-old gets a kick out of it too. If I were to get more, I'd get a little dinosaur to represent my husband and another pretty ladybug for my daughter, all small and just visible for us.

Cool -- love it! Me, I'm way too fickle to commit to an image on my body -- I know I'd end up not liking it later on down the road...
For me, I don't like tatoo, I prefer embroidery. But one of my daughter have some tatoo on her. For her next tatoo she wants a heart with a key...
I like this kind of giveaway, count me in, please

Lovely! I want to get a koi fish and mum to stand for my grandparents. I'd also like to get something crafty themed.

I would love to get a Crafty Goddess tattoo, much like the embroidery pattern I designed, but with shading and a bit more detail. I love crafty tattoos. I would even get a cross stitch sampler tattooed on my back!

I don't have any tattoos but often thought if I ever got one, it would be of my dad in his Army portrait from WWII. He's nearly 86 now and in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. He didn't have the best start in life, then went off to serve his country at 18 yrs. old. He's been the greatest dad and is my personal hero.

P.S. Have you done a tutorial on how to do the tinting? I would love to do that to some of my projects but am afraid to tackle it.
I wish I could send you a picture - I have a picture of that martini glass your hottie is sitting in located at Fremont Street in Las Vegas! What better place for this picture to have a new home than in Sin City! My fantasy tattoo (which really isn't a fantasy because my husband and I talk about getting it) would be a small Queen of Hearts on my back with my husband's name either entwined in it or under it and my husband would get the King of Hearts with my name. We moved to Las Vegas a few years ago and we love it here. It's a good place to live, you can sit back and chill or do the strip and howl! And the weather ain't bad either.
I don't have a tatoo, don't think I will ever go for one, but my dream tatoo is a phoneix.
Thanks for the chance to win this beauty!
I am 51 years old and still don't have a tat! My kids have lots. I keep wishing for a trio of tattoos to represent my BillHubby - a version of the Turner Classic Movies camera man logo, a guitar for my rock start Son and a hibiscus for my Daughter.
You did a beautiful job on the picture! I wish I had half the talent for embroidery :(
I've got a couple of celtic-styled tattoos already but I've always wanted a third (and final) tat, and it would probably be a mix of something that represents my kids & hubby & I. The idea of an owl with their names all "hidden" within the feathers is intriguing... :D
Hello Sew Lovelies~
Let's see, my dream tattoo... hmm... I've never been able to commit, so I don't have any just yet, but I think it would end up being an ever growing boquet of flowers. Maybe I'll be a late bloomer like my mom. Can I share a little story with you? My mom got her first tattoo on her 50th birthday, a slightly broken heart with an angel wing and a halo, this was for my dad. She put this tattoo right over her own heart. He passed away when she was 29 and he was only 31... Her second tattoo was on her 51st birthday and is of flowers that my grandmother had painted (she was an artist) when my mom was a little girl. Her third tattoo on her 53rd birthday was feathers and beads to honor my grandfather who was an American Indian. She just had her 54th birthday and is keeping mum on what's next... She says she wants ME to draw something to be tattooed, and my brother likewise!! Can you imagine?? I'm freaking out. But I like this process, it's her story and I enjoy seeing how it unfolds and what will be written on her skin forever. Mom's are cool, they have thier own tales to tell...
As a side note, I was completely OBSESSED with Def Leppard when I was in high school. Pour Some Sugar On Me was like, seriously, the best song ever! I love your version!
Sorry to hijack your comments section... I tend to ramble! Have a Happy Halloween!!
oxo,
Lisa
p.s. You can sort of see a couple of mom's tattoo's in my newest blog post, you can check 'em out if you want :o)
Beautiful work, retro yet modern. My tattoo would probably something with classic hebrew, not sure what word, I guess thats why I havent gotten it...thanks for the chance
I have two tattoos both with butterflies. A dream 3rd one would also include butterflies. When my now 24 year old son was in kindergarden he was student of the week, a poster was made of all his favorite things. Pour Some Sugar on Me was his favorite song--in kindergarden. If I won, I would give it to him!

I have a few tatts, but my favorite is a pair of blue sparrows because my lovely Grandmother calls them 'the bluebirds of happiness'.
I love your embroidery piece. I want it!!
That is so gorgeous. I love pinup embroidery :)
My dream tattoo? There are so many in my queue. I think that I want my next one to be a simple line drawing of Firefly, the ship from the tv show of the same name. It's a tattoo that I just ache for, and feel incomplete without. Maybe on my hip, or deltoid, or foot. Not sure of the placement yet.
But I do love the tattoos I already have, too.
My dream tattoo is a hibiscus flower on my shoulder and a anchor on my foot.

I LOVE the embroidery... hope I win!
I'm pretty sure I have all the tattoos I'm going to get (3), but I still sometimes dream of a back piece with a big bare tree in silhouette. Maybe for my 40th...
kate [at] pickleladyfarm {dot} com
Wow - she's gorgeous! Actually, all of your pin-up girls are gorgeous!
As for my dream tattoo....well, there's a custom armband that I have drawn & stashed away for someday. I would have had it done by now but I think my arms are too flabby for it to look very good but maybe someday! lol
Thanks for the chance to win though!
p.s. I added you to my favorites @ Etsy so one of these days when I have some play money, I will be ordering.
My email is amber (at) wamber (dot) com
With that said, my dream tattoo would actually be a 'cap' sleeve on my left shoulder of ivy to look like it's growing out of my skin, and then some stars scattering around it and maybe some other things related to my personal likes.. such as my world of warcraft character's name, sewing needle and a spool of thread. I would like the tattoo to start on my shoulder blade and gradually work it's way to the front part of my shoulder and have a few stars going up my neck.
My husband is very anti-tattoo, however I may be able to convince him to let me get a small kawaii style panda on my inner left ankle, but since I'm pregnant that won't happen for a few years at least if it happens.
I'm waiting to have a lot of extra money for my dream tattoo, an octopus that wraps around my right shoulder surrounded by lots of pretty things.
I love word tattoos and if I were to pick a tattoo I would totally want to put it in a secret spot not visible to everyone that says something about having faith in yourself.... not sure exactly of the words, but something that means more to me when I show it to important people than most picture tattoos would. It would be like a portable reminder to believe in myself even if other people don't always!
My dream tattoo is all about embroidery, already drawn up a million versions. A patchwork style sacred heart pincushion on my chest. Covered in pins and needles with strings. The (heart)strings will swirl up towards my shoulders where there will be scissors...kinda open, snipping some of the threads. Like where everyone has the swallows, I'll have scissors. Some of the strings will go over my shoulder to tie into a piece that will made to look like it's been stitched onto me :)
I get all giddy just thinking about more tattoos!!!!
