Bringing up Baby Embroidery
I am finally posting my piece for the Phat Quarter Movie Swap! My partner was Bill the Girl and I was so excited to hear she loved old movies and especially Katherine Hepburn :)
Maureen suggested Bringing up Baby and when I looked it up I knew I had to embroider a scene from it!
This was so exciting to embroider because since the image is in black and white I had no influence from the original picture it was completely up to me to make this image come to life in color!
The movie cover is amazing:
After Maureen sketched it out for me I began stitching and stitch by stitch it came along:
I finally finished it a little late but I like the way it came out :)
I loved stitching this up even though the deadline was a little stressful, I did it! Bill now has it in her possession and I was so happy to hear that she liked it ;)
xoxo

Oh, very nice! You two just rocked this swap, I declare you the winners :) I really like how you mounted them both, creative and eye catching.
Great job!! One of our favorite movies!
Can I be like you when I grow up? Oh wait...I'm quite sure I'm older than you...lol. Love the new embroidery.
