The best embroidery trade ever!

Sophia- Shane's Embroidery for Me :)

My lovely friend Shane and I decided months ago that we wanted to do the same pattern and trade and the best part was she loved this design as much as I did! We both started immediately and while she finished two days after she started, I just finished a few days ago :) Even though it took me a hundred times longer (and mine is the not filled in lady) she was such a good sport about it and really liked her lady. She named mine Coco and I named the lady she embroidered Sophia (perfect French lady names <3) I love how different they turned out, the colors are so opposite and I adore it! She filled in like she always does and I did my outline backstitch, our trade was perfect and I can't wait to find the perfect place to hang her. Coco- My Embroidery for Shane!

Excited Ladies!

How amazing are the little black birds she added! It reminds me of the Alfred Hitchcock movie, The Birds.

Happy Friday lovelies, hope you have a great weekend!

Holy smokerolies! Those are the tiniest, most percise fill stitches I've EVER seen! Standing ovation over here!

Both Coco & Sphia are completely lovely, what a fun swap!

I agree that while they were done in different styles,
they are both really charming. I don't know why I am still amazed in my old age how creative yet different people can be.
