I'm super excited about this pretty lady that I stitched up from our flapper pattern for my friend Shane! While I was working on it, I wasn't sure who I was going to give it to, then I realized it looks just like her and was perfect for xmas :) I can't wait to give it to her tonight at our ladies craft night:
I hope she likes it!

She will LOVE it! What pretty little stitches.
I like it!! She should too!!!
Hi Katy! This is sew pretty! I love the idea of Ladies Craft Night too. I have one teensy weensy question... howd'ya affix the embroidered piece to the felt? It's so flat and perfect, I can't see *any* stitches... did you maybe use spray adhesive? Inquiring minds want to know!
Happy New Year, Kiddo!
Thanks ladies, she loved it and put it on immediately! ;)
Lisa someday you, me and Jackson need to have a craft night!!!!
For the pin I cut out the embroidery really close to the stitches leaving a tiny border then used the no fray liquid stuff all the way around, after that dried I just took tacky glue(I've found that it world better than felt glue or fabric fusion) and then glued the whole thing to felt! Oh and before I glued the fabric to felt I stitched the pin to the back of the felt ;) They are so fun to make, I want to make a million more!
Xoxo
Craft night with you & Jackson would be AMAZING! We should make that a goal for 2011! Ok, I LOVE that no-fray-liquid, that stuff is rad. I have used it for embroidered pieces as well. Awesome for applying around the edges of fabric cut with pinking shears (which shouldn't fray based on the whole pinking cut thing, but still does anyway) The way you've used it with your pins looks fantastic. You're a real pro Katy!
