GEM SWEATER MAGIC

Cobra Crossing

I want Gem sweaters, and I want them now! Although I could go thrifting and probably find some super magical gem sweaters, I want to DIY some magic instead!

Here is some of my favorites from the Leslie Hall Gem Sweater Museum:

Court Yard Blues

Mesquakie Keno

Navahoe Brave

Pinyata of the West

Bow Blanket

Circus Fellowship

How good are these names?! Almost as good as the sweaters themselves ;)

I can't wait to make gem sweaters and rock them through the holidays!

I love Leslie Hall! I saw her in concert here in Austin. She was crazy! Of course she was prancing around in a full gold spandex suit with rhinestones all over it. It was EPIC.

I LOOOOOOOVE Leslie Hall! "I've just made the world's largest gem sweater in the world!" I've actually been looking at all those 80s sweaters in the thrift stores for awhile, but haven't actually bought any yet...yet. lol

Leslie hall totally rules I would love to see her live! I can only imagine the awesomeness that it would be: Shiny, gold, sequins and spandex all of my favorite things :)
Leah I really want to see your gem sweater!!!
I decided for Xmas I am going to make a bunch and give them out as shiny presents! And the sweater hunt begins!

Oops, should have been more clear in my comment. The "largest gem sweater" thing was a quote from the music video for Craft Talk. It's really catchy, and anybody who hasn't seen it should head over to YouTube right now!
