All of the pieces below were embroidered by my lovely friend Olivia Ward! Olivia draws the most awesome monsters and for the show she embroidered the monsters in her life, I love her work so much!!!!!!!

The best part about the show was everyone's work was so different but all embroidery! Hopefully our show inspired people to embroider, because we all inspire each other. I'm still on cloud nine from the show, I feel so lucky that I got to do the show with my three friends and we all felt so much support and love from everyone that came ;)
Two more of my embroidery ladies work coming soon, plus all of mine framed and pretty :)

What really elevates embroidery from craft to art is the pairing of the fabric with the sewn images. They both work well together. Great job, wish I could have seen this in person!
I love how Olivia used such beautiful (non-traditional) fabrics to stitch upon. It add so much to the works! Beautiful.
