I totally tried stitching on a road trip but I kept messing up, haha.

@Anita- Isn't it funny! People are always looking and you see them looking and they stare and finally after an hour ask...what are you doing? It's fun to describe embroidery to newbies ;)

@Giddy99- Lol indeed airports are dirty! I love me some stitching on a plane, it makes the flight go so fast!

@Jackson- Haha, you should be embroidering something that says "don't bother me I'm on my break!" Stitching at work is so good, I wish I had a longer break!

@Desi- Ooooh doctors office, such a good idea! I am going to have to try that...once I get insurance!

@Becky- You go girl, do it everywhere!!!! I have toted embroidery and knitting EVERYWHERE! Used to embarrass the kids when they were middle school age but they got over it. ;)Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01495309815825183088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379146729533283706.post-87665764238092650802011-04-02T08:07:05.843-07:002011-04-02T08:07:05.843-07:00Other day had to take my son to the doctor, you kn...Other day had to take my son to the doctor, you know how that is.....took out the stitching and went to town, didn't even notice waiting...45 Minutes! And always on my lunch break @ work, it's so much better than the mindless conversation of the other people in the break room. All they want to do it whine to me about work, it's like, hello! I'm not on the clock right now, lolz.MafiosaGrrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06860313247160613286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379146729533283706.post-85863131302222573162011-04-01T12:35:55.466-07:002011-04-01T12:35:55.466-07:00I stitch on planes and in airports - other commute...I stitch on planes and in airports - other commuters be darned! ;) But I'm REAL careful with my fabric, because airports are filthy, filthy places...giddy99https://www.blogger.com/profile/09608060511419621133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379146729533283706.post-65827832702018909052011-04-01T11:26:09.334-07:002011-04-01T11:26:09.334-07:00I do it in public with no qualms! People expect to see their grandmother behind the hoop and floss, and when they see that it is a peer, the look of shock is hysterical! It is especially funny at a place where everyone is at their laptops, like a Starbucks.
xo, a.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10309882076935158169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379146729533283706.post-34649520761940373802011-04-01T10:39:42.133-07:002011-04-01T10:39:42.133-07:00I haven't been stitching since Oct/Nov. Well I have knitted at a coffee shop before and at a restaurant. It's pretty funny to get stares, but I should try embroidering in public.Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01203989388612264927noreply@blogger.com
